Refund Policy – AACD 2026
Overview
This policy applies to all registrations and ticket purchases for:
AACD 2026 (13th Aegean Analytical Chemistry Days 2026)
Hosted by the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA).
By completing your registration and purchasing a ticket, you agree to the terms outlined below.
No Refund Policy
All ticket purchases for AACD 2026 are final and non-refundable.
Once a registration has been completed and payment has been successfully processed, no refunds, cancellations, or exchanges will be provided, regardless of the reason, including but not limited to:
- Change of personal circumstances
- Inability to attend the event
- Travel or visa issues
- Scheduling conflicts
Transfer of Registration
If you are unable to attend, you may request to transfer your registration to another participant.
- Transfer requests must be submitted via email
- The organizing committee must approve the transfer
- The request must be made within a reasonable time before the event

Event Changes or Cancellation
In the unlikely event that AACD 2026 is:
- cancelled, or
- significantly modified by the organizers
participants will be informed promptly.
Any potential refunds or alternative arrangements will be handled in accordance with applicable European Union consumer protection regulations and at the discretion of the organizers.
Compliance with EU Regulations
This policy complies with applicable EU legislation, including the provisions related to:
- digital services and event registrations
- services tied to a specific date or period of performance
Under EU law, services related to specific events (such as conferences) are generally exempt from the standard 14-day withdrawal (cooling-off) period once the purchase is completed.
