Dear Colleagues,

We would like to invite you to contribute to a special issue in the context of AACD 2026. The special issue will appear in Analytical Letters (the link for the journal is HERE ).

Manuscripts need to be critical reviews or full research papers and present original, unpublished work focusing on analytical and bioanalytical themes presented at the conference.

The Editors would like to point out that all contributions, explicitly including those prepared for the special issue at the invitation of the Guest Editors, will undergo the usual peer reviewing process by independent referees and are assessed by the same high standards of peer review regarding novelty and analytical significance.

Criteria for acceptance of a paper include the receipt of two positive referee reports by renowned experts of the respective field of analytical or bioanalytical chemistry.

Please contact the Chairpersons of AACD 2026 for details and let us know whether you are interested in submitting new results of your work as a manuscript to the special issue by simply sending your contact information together with a preliminary manuscript title to the Guest Editors: Prof. Nikolaos S. Thomaidis or Prof. Antony C. Calokerinos at the e-mail address aacd2026@chem.uoa.gr  by August 31, 2026.

Please note that manuscripts for the Special Issue can only be submitted during the period October 1^st, 2026 - January 1^st, 2027.

Deadline for online submission: January 1^st 2027.
